The view around the place is lovely, near Gregory Lake, and our experience was positive overall. For the price, it's very reasonable, with clean rooms and washrooms and heaters. The kitchen area and living room haven't been renovated, so they look old. Some things need cleaning and updating.

Mr. Halim, the caretaker, was really helpful. The rooms are spacious, there's hot water, a separate room for the driver, and a nice view. It's totally worth the price, with just one catch: you have to pay extra for the heater. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it.

It's a cosy, warm and pleasant place to stay. I've noticed the rooms have deteriorated somewhat over the years I've been coming, but you can ask the caretaker to prepare food, which is very convenient when you want it warm.

The room was roomy and had a nice view, and there's a kitchen downstairs if you'd like to cook. A good place to stay, though staff can be a little hard to reach.

The view is beautiful, but the property is an old, run-down house, so don't be taken in by the reviews. Hot water lasts only two minutes. They don't provide even a small cake of soap or a kettle for boiling water. The cutlery and crockery were dirty and smelly. There are many better properties at the same or a lower price.
