For a short visit, this is a safe, friendly place at a reasonable price. The large parking area was handy, and there are plenty of rooms, so it can suit a big group. The lagoon is very close, with a few restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are okay, and I especially liked the shared hall upstairs, where you can sit, eat, work, or spend time with friends. There's a small kitchen for making tea or coffee, or you can ask for room service. They also have a locked fridge downstairs where you can store food and drinks if you ask.

We first chose this place on someone's recommendation, and my team and I were very happy with the stay. We came back for another visit because the comfort and quality exceeded what we expected. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with a private bathroom, fan, and air conditioning, and there are different bed setups for different kinds of travel companions. There's also a living room with a TV, table, chairs, and comfortable sofas for spending time outside your room. You can wash clothes and use the steam iron. A great place to stay in Batticaloa, and the hotel is in very good condition with lots of facilities.
