The hosts were wonderful, always going out of their way to make us happy. My husband and I came back home recently after spending just over three weeks at this guest house with another couple, and we had a completely faultless, fabulous stay. The rooms were great and breakfast was perfect. The beach and fabulous restaurants are both an easy walk away. If we come back next year, this is absolutely where we'll stay. Ray & sharon

Breakfast came with a fruit platter that we liked. There was a shared kitchen and sitting area, and our room had a cupboard, hangers, and a drying rack. The beach and restaurants are close by, though getting to the shops takes a bit of a walk.

The people here made me feel at home, which is essential when you're travelling. They were welcoming, helpful, and always ready with information. I had a perfect one-week stay from start to finish, and breakfast was very good too. If I come back to Sri Lanka, I'll choose Bentota again, both for its beauty and because of them.

The rooms are quiet and decent, with good AC, hot water, decent Wi-Fi, and breakfast. The price is reasonable too. Very friendly family.

A great option in Bentota if you'd rather stay somewhere small than at one of the big hotels or residences. The house is incredibly clean, and the breakfast is huge. The owners are really kind and helpful. There's a fully equipped shared kitchen, and the terrace with its dining table is a nice touch.
