The room I got was pretty bad. I guess that was because I went with the low-budget option.

We had trouble finding the place after dark, since there were no illuminated signs and the Google Maps pin wasn't quite right. It's also a little far from the train station and town centre, so walking isn't very convenient. A tuk-tuk should cost around 150 rupees. The place itself was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly. We paid 2,500 rupees by booking directly, which is the same price as booking online, so you can use the booking site. They offered us a large breakfast for an extra $3 per person, but we didn't need that much food and thought the price was a bit high compared with what you could spend elsewhere.

Right by the lake, with a gorgeous view and nature all around. It was peaceful and quiet, the service was good, and the staff were lovely. Highly recommended.
