The lagoon setting was spectacular, and there was plenty for the kids to do. We were unsure at first after reading the reviews, but chose to stay three nights because of the 6.30 hours drive. The welcome, staff efficiency, and especially their kindness were a pleasant surprise. The property is quite vast, though I wish the rooms were nearer the water. We spent a relaxing time in the hammocks by the lagoon, with a steady cool breeze. The mainly Srilankan food was amazing. There are a few mosquitos, so bring plenty of bug spray. Coral sea, just 15 min from the Cove, was amazing for snorkeling. The blue water and white sand looked just as I remembered from swimming there 40 years ago. The air-conditioned rooms are a bit small but clean, and there’s also a Villa type cottage that fit a whole family. We had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the two staff members were very friendly. It’s an eccentric little hotel with just 3 rooms, tucked away by a lovely, quiet beach. Most Uber drivers and taxis didn’t seem to know the place existed. The doorways are narrow and about six feet high, and the balcony is separate from the room. We were expecting something different, though it could suit anyone looking for a cozy, private hideaway.

It’s a quiet, secluded spot with very friendly, helpful staff and only a few rooms. Parking is limited to one space, which could be a concern if you have to leave your vehicle outside. There was no hot water, and only the suite can use the pool. Since the nearby beach isn’t clean and the sea is rough, not having pool access is a letdown.

The four staff really took care of us, and both the room and pool were cleaned every day. They also changed the towels and linen daily. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and it’d be a must for a special occasion.

It’s a small, pleasant hotel with only 3 rooms. There’s no restaurant, but they do serve a very good breakfast. The staff were lovely, especially Irwin, and very helpful. We had a great stay.
