It's in a quiet part of Bentota, yet Bentota Beach is just a three-minute walk away. The owner was very nice, and the facilities were clean. There are rooms in the owner's house as well as a separate bungalow with a kitchen. The price felt very fair for what you get.

The hosts were so lovely and generous, and we had a great stay. Our room was clean, roomy, and nicely furnished. The house is in a beautiful area, not too far from the beach. We enjoyed the breakfasts, but the fish the host cooked one evening was the real treat. It was delicious. Thank you!

A short stroll gets you to the beach, shops, or ATMs, even though the place is tucked away on a quiet road. We booked through WhatsApp, and the host was incredibly quick to reply and helpful. The room felt clean, comfortable, and homely, and the ceiling fan worked really well. Breakfast was so good that we ate here every morning. We'd happily come back :)

Lakmali was such a friendly, lovely host. We paid $18USD for a room and breakfast for two. The beach is about five minutes away, and Bentota train station takes around ten minutes to reach on foot. Not every room has AC, but ours had a good ceiling fan, and we slept under a mosquito net.

Lakmali's homemade Sri Lankan food was delicious, and breakfast changed each day. The owners welcomed us so warmly that it felt like visiting family. It's a really comfortable guest house, with a big lounge and kitchen. The beach and shops are close, while the area itself stays peaceful. And Bentota beach is the best in Sri Lanka! Thank you so much.
