The rooms in the villa were clean and decent, but the TV and air conditioning didn’t work, so we were hot all day. The owners’ kids were shouting, and it was noisy enough that we couldn’t relax. It didn’t feel like a peaceful villa either, more like the owners’ house with rooms rented to tourists. We paid 26000/ for one full-board day, which felt very expensive given the conditions and the situation in Sri Lanka. I didn’t come away feeling refreshed at all. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids or anyone looking for a quiet holiday. Don’t waste your money here.

I really enjoyed chatting with the host 😊. The villa feels like a cozy home, and the swimming pool is a nice extra. It’s also calm and peaceful, away from the city.

The owner offered us tuk-tuk rides to the train station and to a really cool spot at the beach. That last stop was especially worth it. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were good quality with air conditioning.

The pool is so lovely, and the owner was a very nice person. The staff were sooo sweet and kind. Definitely worth the price, and I’d recommend it 100%. Must visit!
