Jaya was friendly and wise, and ready to help with what we needed. The place has a restaurant where they can make delicious food, and the rooms were clean and spacious, with mosquito nets and nice bathrooms with hot water. The price was very reasonable. The main house and a few cottages sit apart from each other beneath a lovely garden canopy, so everyone gets some privacy. It’s a hidden gem, about a five minute walk from a fantastic beach. There’s a local shop on the street corner for water and snacks, and the best local scooter hire is just a minute away. Go for it, it’s a special treat and a great deal.

The host was really helpful, and we’d recommend trying their new attached restaurant, ‘Chill Restaurant’. The beach is a very short walk across the train tracks, while Bentota town is about a 15 minute walk. It’s a great spot away from the busy centre.

The beach is very close, and you can get a good meal at their “chill restaurant”. The family is lovely and helpful, and the place is calm and relaxing. Thank you so much for everything 🙏🏻

Jaya was helpful with taxis and transport, and the location is convenient, about a five minute walk to the beach and ten minutes to the train station. Restaurants are nearby too. I stayed in a non-AC room and found it comfortable, though you need to watch out for mosquitoes in the evening. My only room complaint was that there were very few sockets for chargers.

Chipmunks come onto the balcony, birds sing in the morning, and wild monkeys leap between the palm trees. It feels like a Disney fairytale. The setting is beautiful and very quiet, with lots of greenery. The bed was big and comfortable, and there was a mosquito net and a fridge in the room. The WiFi isn’t strong enough for work.
