River Breeze Villa

For around 7K, our room at River Breeze Villa felt more like a full suite, which was a pleasant surprise. It was very spacious, spotless and well kept. There’s a lovely pool outside, plus a balcony with a seating area and a beautiful view of the nearby river. You really do feel the river breeze, and it’s a romantic place for dinner in the evening. Inside, the layout is great, with a separate living area and comfortable sofa, a refrigerator, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, sink, kettle, toaster and all the utensils you’d need. The bedroom is large and air-conditioned, and the bedding and towels were perfectly clean. Even the bathroom was spacious and pristine. The owner was kind and helpful, welcomed us with a refreshing drink, and handled every request with a smile. We only booked a room, though I saw they also have Bed & Breakfast options. It’s a great deal in Bentota, and I’ll definitely be back!

We felt at home here, with a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. Ruchira gave us wonderful hospitality throughout our stay, a real 10/10. The room was neat and clean, and the property is laid out really well. We were welcomed with a drink, which made us feel special right away, and the pool was lovely and relaxing. A truly wonderful stay in Bentota, Sri Lanka. I’d give it five stars and highly recommend staying here when visiting Bentota.

We were six, and the villa worked really well for our family. The bedrooms had plenty of space, and we had the basics we needed, including a TV, air conditioning, fridge, and stove. Everything was kept in good shape, the cleaning was thorough, and the pool was crystal clear. The hosts made the stay especially lovely. They were attentive, cheerful, and quick to help, from arranging a car or excursions to helping us find our way around the country. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. A wonderful holiday, and we wish Ruchira and her family good health and prosperity! ❤️

Ruchira was a delight. She and her family and team kept in touch before and during our visit and were very attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and fabulous, too. There were six of us sharing three rooms for a weekend, and we had a great time at River Breeze Villa Bentota. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked really well.
