Our group of eight adults and two children all found ways to enjoy the villa, whether swimming or playing a board game by the pool. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the property looked beautiful, and the food was so good that we chose to eat most of our meals there, even though we’d booked bed and breakfast to keep our options open. Chamara deserves a special mention for his care and attention. He kept going out of his way to help us, and Dinesh and Mahesh also did a lot to make sure things went smoothly. The chef made delicious meals and was accommodating to our needs. The office and on site team stayed in touch seamlessly, which made everything feel stress-free. We felt warmth and comfort throughout our first visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Every moment was a joy.

The villa felt like a home away from home, thanks in part to the welcoming staff and really good food. We loved how beautiful the rooms were, with each one thoughtfully designed in its own style, and the architecture was lovely too. I’d definitely return.

Our group of 10 fit comfortably at Yahva, and the facilities felt luxurious and state of the art. The food was phenomenal, but the service stood out most for me. The staff were friendly, capable, and quick to take care of what we needed. A full 10/10, and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Chamara was thoughtful and attentive throughout, and even arranged to have the watch I left behind after checkout sent safely to Colombo. That kind of care really meant a lot. The villa itself was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely pool and a peaceful pier looking out over the lake. We had a wonderful stay. Mosquitoes were the one small issue, but spray made them easy to manage. One of our best stays, and highly recommended.

We especially enjoyed kayaking, and the staff took great care of us while we were out on the water. The chef’s fresh, flavorful meals were excellent and beautifully presented. Yahva Bentota is a lovely waterfront place for friends to relax, enjoy nature, or switch off for a while. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and each had its own character. Bring mosquito repellent, though. We can’t wait to return.
