We stayed in a cabana with a direct ocean view, and the beach right in front looked lovely. The private beach area was really nice, too. Ramon Beach Resort has a lovely feel, and we had a wonderful stay. The staff were wonderful, and Mr. Priyanka, the owner, was friendly and supportive. I’d happily stay again.

I booked two nights at Ramon on the spur of the moment while travelling, and I’m glad I did. The beach location was perfect, and it was quiet and peaceful. They looked after me very well. I’d definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.

My husband and I really liked this hotel and the place in general, and we’d happily recommend it to friends. It was our first time in Sri Lanka, so we couldn’t compare it with other hotels there. We knew the rooms might not be like five-star places in Turkey or Egypt. They’re not new, but I wouldn’t call them awful either. I’d rate them around 3.5-4 stars. The owner is friendly and helpful, always willing to meet us halfway. He cooks very tasty food and will offer advice or help when you need something. There’s hot water, a mini refrigerator, air conditioning and a fan. Cleaning is available on request, and the ocean is just 50 meters away. Thank you to the hotel and its owner for the service.

The rooms face the beach and are neat and clean, with WiFi. The beach feels almost private. They also have Indian food, and both the quality and portions are good. The morning buffet especially has a nice spread. A very nice place.
