Wildlife was one of the best parts of our stay. We enjoyed spotting birds and monkeys among the lush surroundings. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and the outdoor areas had lovely views. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable, in a villa in Tangalle just a short walk from the beach. We spent two wonderful nights there. This villa is a perfect.

The best part is how close it is to the beach, with a little private path leading straight there. It became our favorite stretch for sunrise and long walks. We also loved the pool and coconut garden, and felt like we were in paradise 🌴. The welcome was warm, the room was so spacious, and we slept like babies. It was quiet and felt safe, with a good mattress. The lovely staff took great care of us.

The kids loved watching the wildlife and wandering around to see what they could find. The villa sits in a beautiful coconut plantation, with a huge pool. At the bottom of the garden there's an amazing beach and a few lovely restaurants. It's about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride into town, but everything you need is nearby, including a village shop within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was one of the best villas we stayed in during six weeks of travel in Sri Lanka. We'd recommend it completely and hope to return one day for that beautiful sunrise.

A leafy, spacious garden full of birds surrounds the place, with a pool and air-conditioned rooms that have hot water. The beach is right behind the property, and the sand is beautiful. There's free WiFi, cooking facilities on site, takeaway options within walking distance and a bar next door for cocktails. From Nakulugamuwa Railway station, on the Colombo to Belliatta track, it's a 5 minute tuk ride. The Colombo to Katharagama bus route is also within walking distance. I stayed two nights and would recommend it to a digital nomad friend.
