River View Villa

I came here to work and receive Ayurvedic treatments, and the full-board stay was among the best affordable options I’ve found, with 5-star treatment. The staff are friendly and even made an extra effort to provide vegetarian food for me. Their Ayurvedic team includes qualified doctors and support staff. Other places often charge much more for similar coverage.

Our stay at River View Villas was awful. My parents arrived to find their room smelling bad, and my dad had to wait in the car for nearly three hours before another room was ready. That’s no way to treat guests. My friend and I were also told off for being too loud while swimming, even though we were just having fun, so the complaint felt unfair. The food was poor and undercooked, and I could have cooked better at home. There wasn’t much to do nearby, so we were bored and didn’t feel the place was worth the money. The room, service, pool incident, food, and lack of activities made the whole visit terrible. I hope management fixes these problems soon. SJ

The river-facing location is lovely, but please avoid staying here. We came today as six families, and I was put in Lilly villa. The rooms were unclean, and some smelled bad. My room had no toilet paper, a stained, poor-quality towel, no shampoo, and only a small piece of soap. The water wouldn’t drain, the shower was broken and couldn’t be held, and the room door wouldn’t lock. The pool wasn’t clean either. Lunch was very bad; I suspect they outsource the food. I’ll update later about dinner. My impression is that River view villas is the main property and they’re selling this substandard adjacent Lily Villa under their brand. If you come, bring your own towels, toiletries, bedsheets, and pillowcases, and don’t plan to eat here. #River View Villas

A great spot for a quiet weekend away. The riverbank view is beautiful, with trees, birds, squirrels, and even a friendly dog around. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is nice. Staff were polite, considerate, and helpful, checking in to make sure we were okay. They also have reasonably priced Ayurvedic and other herbal treatments on site, with dedicated staff. I loved my stay.
