The staff were so friendly, and our room was clean, with AC and a little terrace. The bathroom was spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked really well, which isn’t always easy to find in Sri Lanka, especially these days. It’s a very nice, budget-friendly place to stay in Colombo. The only letdown was the coffee, which was instant. If you need a proper caffeine fix, The Brown Bean Coffee is just two streets away.

I may just have caught them on a bad day. The room was adequate and the staff were nice, but ants were all over the bathroom, even on the toilet seat. A quick request for spray sorted that out. When I went to shower, there was no water. I thought it had been turned off and went to bed, but it was still out when I woke up. The plumber only arrived after I’d checked out. It would also help if they labelled the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and the rest.

The rooms are small but neat and clean. There’s no breakfast, though, and no restaurants nearby either.
