Aqeel, who works in the main reception bar area, really made our stay special. I've never met someone so happy, smiley, and helpful. I think the people working at a hotel shape its atmosphere and give guests a reason to return, especially when they make you feel at home. The hotel is a lovely place in the city center, near the big mall, with good facilities. I'd say it's one of the best places to stay in Colombo. The wait for food after ordering was long, though.

Our 6 pax family Chicken Biriyani Sawan was more than enough for six, so it felt like good value. The biriyani looked great and had a lovely authentic Indian flavor. The curries and dessert were tasty too, and we were really happy with the meal. The staff were friendly, and Nethma Perera helped with our order and made sure it was ready on time for collection.

The table setup could be a little more comfortable, but otherwise I was very satisfied with the restaurant. I visited Cinnamon Lake last Thursday for the lunch buffet and enjoyed a wonderful meal, with lots of Sri Lankan, Indian, and Chinese dishes to choose from. Everything tasted delicious and the service was excellent. There was a special offer that day too, which made it even better. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The lake views are peaceful and the setting feels relaxing, right in the heart of the city. Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo has spacious, modern rooms that are well maintained, excellent dining with lots of cuisines, and staff who are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The pool and recreational facilities are top notch, so it works well for both leisure and business travelers. A beautiful hotel with a lovely mix of luxury and comfort, truly one of the best places to stay in Colombo!

The food selection and quality at the restaurant made our stay even better, and the grounds and swimming pool were fabulous. We finished our Sri Lanka tour at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel and were offered a choice of rooms. We picked one at the front with a balcony. Everything, including our room, was exceptionally clean. We had such a fantastic stay that we wish we’d booked more time. Great service and value, and we plan to return next year.
