A welcoming owner, tasty homemade dinner, and dogs and cats wandering around made this a charming stop. It’s very close to the Golden Temple and works well for backpackers on a budget. The building is very old, with dated, basic facilities, but it has plenty of color and character.

The Cave Temple is right across the street, and this is a decent place for a short stay. The rooms are on the small side, but it’s a good option if you’re watching your budget.
