The area in Dambulla was quiet and peaceful, and the Dambula Cave Temple and Golden Temple were an easy walk away. The staff were very friendly, and the owner was amazing. We had booked the hostel, but a large group was staying there, so he moved us to the resort at no extra cost to make sure we were comfortable. He arranged transport to Sigiriya Rock and a few places nearby, then quickly found us a cab from Dambulla to Tangalle at a great price. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We felt safe and well looked after. The owner, who also drives a tuktuk, took us to Pidurangala rock early in the morning and climbed it with us. He helped us get up quickly and smoothly, pointed out lots of interesting places, and gave us plenty of chances for photos we'll remember for a long time 😂❤️. We highly recommend it!

One of our most fun backpacker stays in Sri Lanka. The owner was so kind, cheerful and fun, and we loved unwinding by the pool and doing the sunset activity. Breakfast and dinner were both great, and with everything included it was very good value. 10/10, would recommend.

My friend and I had a great time here. We first booked the hostel, then switched to the resort when we realized the price for a room for two was very similar. The room was comfortable, and the host was really helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend it.

The owner was great and helped me get permission to visit the cricket stadium. It's also close to the famous cave temple, and the rooms and washroom were clean. The beds have privacy curtains and mosquito nets. Just two small drawbacks: the power outlet wasn't right by the bed, and for some reason I didn't get hot water.
