Glen Rock Ella

The breakfast had a huge range of delicious options, and the hotel's decor was lovely. When I visited ella red rock hotel last Sunday and checked out yesterday, I was mesmerised by the luxurious accommodations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with nicely done amenities and stunning views. The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the dining to the cozy rooms. I've recommended (ella red rock hotel) to others and can assure you they'll never regret visiting once.

The view was amazing, and the staff were very kind and helpful. They didn't listen to our dietary restrictions, though, and there was tons of black mold in both the room and bathroom. Stay away!

We were a family of four, two adults and two kids, and really enjoyed our weekend stay. The property is clean and well maintained, with beautiful views, especially when the fog settles in after dark. We had a good English breakfast and chose bed and breakfast, which made sense because the hotel sits on a hill and food nearby can be hard to find. The hotel is about 3-4 km from Ella town. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and they provide Dialog internet and FreeSat TV. They also have a tuk-tuk ready most of the time and can arrange a ride to town. You pay the driver directly, though I'm not sure of the exact cost. The road is narrow and best for a small vehicle. I drove a small car without problems, although I did see a van there too. One tip: Google Maps can show two routes depending on your vehicle, so call the hotel to ask which one suits you. They're helpful and will guide you. When we called Ella Red Rock to ask about room rates and details, they were friendly and responsive from the start. They asked for a deposit of around Rs. 5,000 and assured us it would be refunded if we couldn't come. Since we were running late, they even called to check if we were on the way, which was thoughtful. Apart from the slightly difficult road access, everything was excellent, and we'd definitely return if we visit Ella again.

The owners and staff were really friendly and treated us well. Keep in mind this is a non-AC room away from Ella town, and cars can’t get all the way to the hotel because the road is so narrow. They offer a free tuk-tuk ride between the main road and the hotel for pickup and drop-off.
