Although I only had time for one night, I’d definitely visit again. When rain meant I couldn’t go out for food, the family went out of their way to make me a delicious homemade dinner. Akhil also helped me catch an early morning train, making the journey smooth. He took me on a memorable bike ride to Cinnamon Island, and the hosts made sure I had a great time exploring nearby attractions. Their care and hospitality exceeded what I expected. I felt safe, comfortable, and truly welcome at Villa 184, and highly recommend it for a warm, authentic stay in Sri Lanka.

The rooms were clean, spacious enough, and well air-conditioned. Breakfast was always nice, and one evening the host offered us dinner that he had cooked himself. It was better than any food we’d had before, even though we’d eaten well so far. We also felt welcome the whole time thanks to the amazing, very friendly family. The host took us to his cinamon farm too. Stunning :)

The host was so kind and nice, and we had a wonderful time at Villa184. The food was fresh and delicious, and the beach is quite close. The room had AC and stayed cool. A really great experience, we enjoyed it a lot!

The food was great, and the owner’s warm, one-of-a-kind personality made the stay memorable. It’s a quiet, comfortable inn surrounded by lovely nature and animals. I left feeling very satisfied.
