We celebrated our anniversary here and had an unforgettable stay. Even with very little notice, Mr. Nilanga, the manager, arranged a beautiful surprise for us. His warmth, care, and attention to detail made us feel truly valued, and it always felt like home. I've visited many top hotels in Sri Lanka, and Mr. Nilanga is honestly one of the best hosts I've met. His hospitality made the whole stay. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return!

We had a relaxing and memorable day outing at Sigiriya Kingdom Resort. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed, and the service was excellent throughout. The food was delicious and better than we expected. Highly recommended for a getaway or day outing.

We went to Sigiriya Kingdom Gate Resort for our preshoot, but our shoot was delayed and didn't finish until around 11.00 PM. Our checkout was meant to be 11.00 AM, yet the manager kindly let us stay longer so we could get ready for the second shoot at 2.30 PM. I'd never experienced that kind of understanding and kindness before. The manager was humble, supportive, and genuinely caring, exactly what a manager should be. The staff were extremely friendly and supported us from the start to the end of our stay. We're so grateful for their flexibility and hospitality. A truly superb place, highly, highly recommended ❤️✨

We drove almost 400 km to check in and ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere close to midnight. They kept me waiting for more than 40 mints while staff were on phone calls, then said they couldn't do anything. I was asked to pay more than double the original price, and got no solution. It wasted my fuel and time and ruined my holiday plans. My experience with Sigiriya Kingdom Resort was extremely disappointing. The hotel confirmed a booking at an agreed rate, then tried to change the price later, in the middle of the night. The staff gave no clear explanation, took no accountability, and handled the problem with very poor customer service. A confirmed booking shouldn't be changed like that, and travelers need to be able to trust what they've booked. This completely broke that trust and showed a lack of professionalism and respect. I'd advise others to be very cautious and document everything, since based on my experience the hotel's commitments can't be relied on. Management needs to address this before more customers go through the same frustrating situation. I would never recommend this behavior.
