Yashumi Homestay

The beds were really comfortable, and everything was very clean. We stayed three nights while exploring dambulla and Surrounding. The Family were so helpful, and breakfast was amazing. They cooked us delicious food in the evening too. Tuk tuk was arranged for a whole day to take us to siringya and other Sightseeing Points. There’s a Terrasse where you can sit outside. Great stay with a great family.

For a budget-friendly stay in Dambulla, the value for money is exceptional. The rooms were clean and serene, and the owner was prompt, smiling, and made sure our needs were met. Breakfast was delightful. The only thing to keep in mind is that it gets quite warm, so I’d choose a room with air conditioning for comfort. I highly recommend the place.

The outside sounds come through quite clearly, so light sleepers might find that difficult. Still, I loved being welcomed by this always-smiling family, who were eager to help with anything. The room was cozy and comfortable, and breakfast with local foods was excellent. The “grandfather” took us around in a tuk-tuk for a much better price than many others. I highly recommend going with them to Sigiriya and Pidurangala. It’s a fantastic family and a truly authentic Sri Lankan experience. I’ll miss you all!

Yashumi Homestay is new, and everything was clean. We stayed for three days. The hot water and wi-fi worked well, and the family were so nice. The wife cooks really well, we ordered dinner every night because we loved the food.
