The receptionist was the best part of our three days here in Colombo, always kind, supportive, and ready to help. That made a real difference to the stay. The dorm was decent and comfortable enough for a short visit. Breakfast came as a buffet and was okay. I wasn't keen on the coffee or tea, though my husband was fine with them. I picked the place after reading reviews, and I don't regret staying. I'd give it five stars mainly for the staff's hospitality. I probably wouldn't return, but I'm still glad for the experience.

The location has made this my go-to for my Sri Lanka trips between December and March. I've stayed at Clock Inn Dehiwala for the past three years, and the service, cleanliness, and convenient transport links have stayed consistent. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach, two minutes to the main bus stand, and three to four minutes to Dehiwala railway station, with easy trains to Colombo and Galle. A tuk tuk isn't needed to get around from here. The shared room costs around LKR 3000 a night, which is very reasonable, and breakfast is available too, a real plus for budget travelers. The atmosphere is nice, and the rooms, washrooms, and reception area are all kept very clean. Staff are polite and supportive, and make me feel welcome each time. I've been happy with the affordable price, cleanliness, friendly service, and transport access. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay, and plan to keep staying here on future visits.

The five-night stay was pleasant, and breakfast was very good. Tea or coffee is available free whenever you want it. Most of the staff were helpful and good for business. It was clean and comfortable, with no concerns to mention.

The location is great, and the staff are lovely and friendly. Rooms are spacious and attractive, with a good bed and a great shower. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet. I can recommend staying here.

Room 103 was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially liked the huge, modern bathroom, one of the best I've seen in a hotel. The beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and the complimentary healthy breakfast was a nice touch. I'd happily return.
