The location was a real plus, with the beach an easy walk away. And keep an eye on dog. He’s friendly, though he may hump your leg if he takes a liking to you. House of Arts was one of the highlights of my trip, and staying there felt like an experience in itself. It’s run by an old French film maker, and the walls are covered in old posters of his movies. It’s more like a bed and breakfast than a conventional hotel. The rooms could use some work and feel a little run down, and there’s no A/C. Breakfast wasn’t anything to rave about either. If you want comfort, AC, and a standard hotel experience, this probably isn’t the place for you.
