Gihan is the man, and the service feels very Sri Lankan. The location is excellent and the rooms are decent. For a longer stay, a small fridge would help. Prices can be tricky, but for a short visit I prefer this to some other places in the area. Mr. Canada

The place itself is good, but the staff let it down. They handle official phone calls poorly and treat customers badly, which spoils the overall value.

Gihan, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Sarath and Nandha did their work quietly, and were friendly when I spoke to them. The room was basic but comfortable enough, and with the low prices it felt like reasonable value. There isn't food on site, though, so I was directed to a nearby hotel for breakfast. It's a good fit if you just need an inexpensive bed for the night without frills. The location is convenient for Mount Lavinia beach, Galle Road, and Mount Lavinia railway station, yet it stayed peaceful despite being close to them.

They quoted us 4500 for a day, but when we arrived at 9 at night, the hotel's employees said we'd have to leave at 8 in the morning or pay another 4500 immediately to stay until 11 in the afternoon. They gave us three minutes to gather our things and leave if we didn't pay. I told the owner, but he didn't take proper action. The employees were very bad.
