NS Apartments

I enjoyed staying there. The apartments are very nice, clean, and have good service. The location is convenient too.

Dust everywhere and an unpleasant smell made the place poorly cleaned. The air conditioning and some fans weren’t working, despite what the owner had assured us. The owner overcharged us and didn’t address our complaints. The substandard conditions, dishonest practices, and unprofessional behavior were extremely disappointing. I strongly advise against NS Apartment in Colombo and suggest finding somewhere else for a more pleasant, honest stay.

The place is convenient for both the city and Mount lavinia beach, and cleanliness was ok overall. But confirm every bill when you check in. The owner asked for fees at checkout for wifi, which is free everywhere, and water, and the amount was far more than I’d used. I’d paid the full month’s electricity bill of Rs 5000/- as soon as it arrived, yet he then requested another Rs 5100/- for the remaining two days, including water and wifi. It seems like he’s trying to make extra money from locals. If you’re a single lady, please be careful around the people working there, especially those at the construction site, since construction is going on at the premises. The gate and door keys didn’t work properly either, and that put me in a bad situation.

They said the Air conditioner wasn’t working, though it worked for a few hours the other day before we left. Some fans and lights didn’t work either. There were no clear terms and conditions, and they kept changing them as they wished. The house smelled dusty.
