We've been coming here for over 15 years because it's convenient and near my place. The pool is kept very clean and well maintained, which is why we've returned. But after today, when we checked in for a Sunday swim, I'm done. The owner and management haven't seemed interested in raising the standards. Restaurant napkins were stained and disgusting, the room toilet was blocked, and the toilet fittings and some bed linen looked about 20 years old and weren't maintained. There was no customer service from anyone except the pool guy, who's always been really friendly. I don't recommend this hotel, since there are much better places around.

Don't be taken in by old reviews. This used to be a great place, but its current condition is disgusting. The rooms and common areas were full of dirt, dust, and rust. There were no COVID safety precautions, not even a temperature check. If you care about your loved ones, don't visit or stay here. It's really sad to see how far the hotel has fallen since our last visit a couple of years ago, when it was a good venue. The attached photos show just a glimpse of what we saw, and we still can't unsee it. This place is a health hazard for guests.

The pool is clean and well looked after, and the beach is about 100 metres away. It's a 35-year-old property that's been renovated, with a pool, gym, and spa. The staff are helpful and cooperative, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The gym is in bad shape and needs immediate attention.

The food didn't have the flavour I expected. The lobby is nice, and the pool and outdoor area are spacious. The staff are quite helpful, though their size could be improved. A moderate place.

The rooms are a little old, but they're spacious and clean. There's a bar with very reasonable prices, and I saw large banquet halls suited to weddings or other functions. The hotel has a large pool and gardens and is very close to Mount Lavinia Beach. Superb for a family outing or holiday. Highly recommend.
