The host was wonderful, and the room had amazing views stretching far into the distance. It was beautiful, clean, and cosy, with great dinner and breakfast. This was the best guest house I stayed in on my whole trip. The host will pick you up from the train station and take you back there too.

The beautiful view and calm atmosphere made this such a lovely place to unwind and enjoy Ella. Staff were friendly and the hospitality was great. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. It was an amazing stay, and definitely somewhere I’d visit again.

After stage 16 of the Pekoe Trail, we had a perfect stay here. The valley views are amazing, and it’s peaceful, away from traffic. Everything was clean. The owners arranged a free car pickup from the railway station, and when we asked for lunch and dinner, they made us delicious meals. We really appreciated our time here!

It’s a very quiet place, and the temperature was comfortable, especially for us coming from Arugam bay in summer. It’s quite a way from the village, but the owner offers free rides to and from there.

The warm hospitality made our stay at the Bergahus Bungalow in Demodara especially memorable. The bungalow is both elegant and comfortable, with lovely views of the greenery and the iconic Demodara Loop. A serene hill getaway, and one I’d highly recommend.
