Bee Line Home Stay

I stayed three nights and wished I could have stayed longer. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. There's no AC, but the fans made it manageable. The family is kind and makes many of their own products. They gave me some really good soursop juice, and laundry cost 5USD with same-day return. The beach is a 25 mts walk, mostly along the road, which was manageable, or you can take a tuk. For what I paid, I was very happy with my choice and would stay here again when I return to Hiri.

We bought some Bee Line teas at a little market, where Anu kindly told us she sold fresh milk and invited us to visit for tea. We went to her estate today, and she was incredibly generous. She made each of us an immunity boosting milk drink and showed us around, explaining the plants and everything on the estate. It was such a wholesome experience, and we loved every minute. She's so kind and down to earth, with nothing but good intentions. Thanks so much for the delicious teas, with so many yummy flavors and options. We chose masala coffee and immunity boost.

I met the owner at a market in town and really wanted a skirt, but the one there was too small. She's such a lovely woman, and offered to make one for me. I picked it up two days later, and also got some tea from her. Thank you so much again!

The family is amazing, and the hosts are caring and so helpful. My room was among the cleanest I've had in Sri Lanka, and there's a guest kitchen. They have a little shop selling organic eggs and other healthy groceries from local farms and producers. Anu also sells clothes. I had a skirt made, and it turned out really nice. She can cook for you too, for a very reasonable price, using fresh ingredients and keeping the food clean. If you're into organic things and good food like I am, this is a really good place to stay.
