The restaurant owner is really hospitable and nice, and the food is good. The bay is beautiful, with clear water that works well for surfing or just relaxing. Goofy surfers will especially enjoy it. Keep an eye out for turtles when you’re in the water. Don’t miss this place!

We tried a massage today and really loved it, definitely worth it. At dinner, the fish plate was fresh and prepared deliciously, and the happy hour drink deals were good too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Being right in front of the beach makes the place just perfect :))

The staff were nice, and the beach is right across from the place, which is why I gave it 2 stars. The food was very expensive for what it was and nowhere near good. I tried the burger, but it didn’t have chicken, it had some strange ham-like meat and I couldn’t tell what it was. The owner didn’t seem to care much about customer service either. My girlfriend asked where she could wash her hands, and he didn’t help. That wasn’t the kind of experience we’d had elsewhere in this beautiful country.

I chose somewhere else after arriving, even though it cost 3xs more. The room had no windows, and the lock looked like it could be compromised very easily. As a female solo traveler, I didn’t feel safe. When I first got there, the family just stared at me without welcoming me, which felt creepy. It’s super cheap for a reason. At least I’m alive, so leaving was probably the best choice.
