Getting to the guest house with our luggage was easy thanks to the host, who arranged a tuk-tuk from the main road because cars can’t make it down the narrow road. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and Hansi, the owner’s daughter, was especially lovely. She was always happy to help and translate when needed. The house is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with an incredible valley view straight onto Nine Arch Bridge. We could walk to the bridge and Little Adam’s Peak, and Ella’s city center was a pleasant 25-minute walk or just 5 minutes by tuk-tuk. The rooms were very clean and had water bottles, plenty of towels, somewhere to hang clothes, a comfortable mattress, and blackout curtains. Breakfast was freshly made and amazing, with pancakes, omelettes, fresh fruit, and great Sri Lankan coffee. We also appreciated the welcome coffee when we arrived. Waking up to the view was magical. We left with lovely memories and would definitely come back! 🌿
