Chamila was so kind. He sometimes drove us to the beach or a cafe, and showed us the beautiful temple near SurfBayVilla. We stayed for a few days, then moved on to other places, but the kids kept asking when we could go back to Chamila’s. We really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it. The house is big, with comfortable beds and a good kitchen where we made breakfast for the kids. It’s in a quiet area away from the noisy road, with Cargills, a fruit shop, and other places just a few minutes away. The beach is close too. You can walk to Hiriketiya beach or take a pick-me. Chamila, all the best, and see you again!

The manager was incredibly friendly and ready to help, which made the stay more enjoyable. It’s a hidden gem in Hiriketiya and excellent value for money. Beautiful beaches are a short walk or drive away, great for a relaxing getaway.

The staff at Surf Bay Villa were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious, clean, calm, and nicely arranged, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming. The cleanliness was well maintained. A great place with amazing service, highly recommended! 🤍💫

Mr Chamila is a very nice, reasonable, and respectful man. The rooms are spacious and well cared for, with high ceilings, a bar fridge, AC, fan, cups, and kettle. There’s also a large shared kitchen downstairs with everything you need. Highly recommend this place!

It’s an easy walk to the beach, whether you want to relax or catch some waves. The host is incredibly kind and welcoming, and will sort out a scooter or tuk-tuk without hassle. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained, so the stay was super comfortable. He’s always ready to help with anything you need. Highly recommend Surf Bay Villa if you want to stay near the beach!
