We loved having breakfast with a great view over the valley, and you can see the 3 arches bridge right next to the hotel. It’s a secluded spot, about a five-minute drive from the railway station and market area. The rooms are spacious with a nice view, and the people are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a highlight, served in three courses, with a choice of how you wanted the eggs. The guys running the hotel looked after us well, and the rooms were good value, with the usual amenities and fully working AC. They also did our laundry at a reasonable price. The hotel is outside Ella town, and you can get onto the railway at 3Arch Bridge behind it. Go left and it’s about a 30-minute walk along the tracks to 9 Arch Bridge. Go right and you’ll reach Ella town in 15 minutes.
Even though I was there only briefly, I had a really enjoyable, comfortable stay and would happily come back. The room was clean and cozy, with everything I needed. The place was peaceful and well kept, surrounded by nature, and the staff were kind and helpful.
We had a big room and very friendly, helpful service, plus a tasty breakfast. The only snag was finding the hotel, since there’s another place nearby with a similar name.
The hosts made this my favorite place to stay during my whole trip to Sri Lanka. They were respectful, generous, and happy to accommodate us. If we needed help with transportation, they were just a text away, and we could ask for the kind of breakfast we wanted the next day. On our last morning, when we had to leave at 5am for the train, they packed a freshly cooked breakfast for us. The guys made our time in Sri Lanka great, along with the food and Lanka's lush tea plantations. I highly recommend staying here.
