Bellaxy Ceylon

The villa was spotless, with spacious rooms, a lovely view, and a shared area for relaxing with lots of amenities. Our large room was also very reasonably priced. The owner was an amazing host and ready to help with whatever he could. He even made the best breakfast I can imagine, better than a restaurant. I've visited several Asian countries and haven't met hosts as kind and friendly as the people at Bellaxy Ceylon. I highly recommend staying here.

The food was one of the best parts of our stay, it was absolutely delicious. Caretaker Priyantha was humble, kind, and gave us outstanding service the whole time. Wi-Fi in the rooms would be a welcome addition and make the stay even better.

The rooms were really clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They cooked us a filling breakfast and were helpful with suggestions for beautiful places to visit in Ella. Such a peaceful, lovely spot for a staycation. Highly recommend it.

The rooms feel luxurious, though I wish they'd added some soundproofing. On closer inspection, the toilet wasn't the cleanest, and by our third day there were more and more ants. The caretaker was super kind and helped however he could. Breakfast was good and included, although a lot of the food seemed to have been reheated from other guests' meals. I appreciated that there were no hidden charges at checkout, so we didn't have an uncomfortable discussion. It’s near the City without being right beside the busy streets. Finding it was tricky at first, and many drivers needed directions, but once you know the way it’s no problem. You can walk into the City, though it’s a hilly 35-minute trek. If you sleep lightly, I wouldn’t recommend it, but for everyone else it’s a great deal.
