You can be in Ella's center in about five minutes, with bars, restaurants, yoga, and walks to waterfalls, the 9 arches bridge, and Adam’s peak nearby. The place itself is away from the noisy town, and the location is superb. We also loved the spacious rooms, lovely views, friendly staff, and excellent service.

Breakfast on the balcony was a lovely way to start the day, with sunrise and Sri Lankan dishes like fruit, pancakes, toast, and fresh juice. The balcony looks out over a gorgeous valley between the mountains. We had a wonderful stay at Country Homes Ella. From the station, it's a manageable 15-minute walk down the mountain.

A back entrance makes it easy to reach Ella's charming center in five minutes, with plenty of bars and restaurants there. We found the hotel's location superb, and the rooms were very spacious with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

The view is amazing, the rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a simple meal delivered to our rooms, with toast, fruit, and a hopper. The walk into town takes about five minutes, but follows the main road, where there's little or no footpath. The hotel sits between two bends in that road, so it was quite noisy. We also had no hot water for a day or so.

We loved waking up to Ella Rock from the balcony, where breakfast came with a breathtaking view. The room was bright, spacious, and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Ella's center is just a few minutes away, but the homestay still feels peaceful. We had a wonderful time here.
