Elevate Ella Resort and Spa

The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful interior, and the outdoor pool is a lovely spot for a drink and the views. We booked three nights in Ella and were so glad we chose elevate. The staff were incredible, especially Ramesh, who was attentive and always happy to help. Breakfast was filling and lovely. The staff also arranged a transfer to our next destination, which helped a lot. Ella town was just a two-minute walk away, perfect for what we wanted. I’d really recommend staying here for a luxury, friendly experience. Thankyou elevate ella!

The hot water in our shower wasn’t working at first, but the manager sorted it out amicably. We enjoyed the food, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The outdoor heated pool, a la carte menu, and bar were nice to have. The staff were friendly, especially Ramesh, Chintan, and Krish. They arranged a Tuk Tuk for local sightseeing since taxis can’t get up the narrow uphill lanes. The hotel is small and clean, with a great location and amazing views from the rooms.

The steep 300m uphill road makes the location difficult, and cars struggle to get up. They should set up a tuk tuk or another shuttle for guests, since it’s almost impossible for older people to reach. Still, this was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka, with beautiful views, lovely staff, and so many thoughtful details around the resort. Thanks to Rumaish for arranging a delicious homemade anniversary cake, and to Krish and Chintan for all their help and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Getting to the room means tackling lots of stairs, plus the hill on the way in, so walking around can be tiring. The views are wonderful, though. The rooms are spacious, modern, and good quality, with really comfortable beds. Service was excellent, and the staff were kind, nice, and helpful whenever we needed them. There’s affordable laundry service, a varied breakfast, and a beautiful pool with a bar beside it 😎
