We had a lovely stay, and everything exceeded my expectations after booking this place at the last minute for two nights. The hotel manager, Akila, was exceptionally kind and helpful, and handled every request with genuine care. Breakfast was included, plentiful, and fantastic, with waffles, fresh fruit, sunny-side egg salad, bread, and juice. The room was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed. It's on a hilltop, so getting up and down can be a little tricky, though tuk-tuks are available. It's less than 1 km from the city center and about 1.3 km from the train station. Open the balcony door and there are breathtaking views by the hill. A real gem, highly recommend!

The breakfast was fabulous, and the dining room decor was wonderful. The location is stunning, with views to die for. Smaller rooms don't have aircon, and because of the altitude the sheets felt damp at first. The bathroom light didn't work and wasn't fixed, and the room wasn't serviced. Even so, I'd still recommend it for the wonderful breakfast and views.

Akila and the staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and roomy, and the bed was really comfortable. There are wonderful views across the city and valley from Green Hill Hotel. It’s an amazing place to relax and enjoy your time in beautiful Ella.

The terrace views were sensational, and breakfast was a generous spread with plenty of variety. We spent two great nights at Green Hill hotel in Ella. Akila, the manager, was really helpful. Definitely recommend.

The service really stood out. Akila and the team did more than we expected to take care of our requests, and breakfast was a big spread: fresh-cut fruit, scrambled eggs, egg hoppers, toast, parota, potato curry and more. Our room was nice, with a breathtaking mountain view. We had an excellent stay at Green Hill and highly recommend it to anyone considering it.
