We felt at home here, and leaving was genuinely sad. I’ll remember the laughter-filled conversations on the balcony, and we won’t forget the family’s kindness. It was the best place of our 10-day trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were excellent and clean, and the hotel is run by a loving family. They noticed we were tired when we arrived and offered coffee and biscuits. I was sick for the next two days, and they made me ginger tea. There can be little shortcomings, as with any business, but they deal with them right away. The owner also drives a tuktuk and taxi, and can take you around the area. We were very pleased. Thank you so much for everything.

It’s peaceful here, and Ella town is about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are extremely spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The owner and his family were wonderfully friendly and helpful. He even gave us a free ride to Ella rock. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor area by the garden, and the family were incredibly kind. We had breakfast once during our stay, and it was delicious. The homestay is about a 15-minute walk from downtown. I recommend it!

The family were really helpful, and the verandah was a nice place to relax. There’s plenty of outdoor parking too, plus a hot shower. It takes about 10 minutes to walk into central Ella, so the location worked well. I stayed one night and slept really well. The room was comfortable, with a proper duvet and four pillows. If I come back to Ella, I’ll stay here again.

The host gave us useful tips on where to go and when, and arranged a taxi to our next stop for a nice price with a great driver. We’d been drenched in the rain the night before, and they let us leave our clothes on the outdoor hanger after checkout. The family were lovely, and we were welcomed with king coconuts. Our room was very clean, cleaner than other places we’d stayed during the trip. We spent two nights in the double bedroom and loved it. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the main street and close to the trailhead for Nine Arches and Little Adam’s Peak. The price was very reasonable. Fantastic experience, and we’d recommend it without hesitation. Thanks for having us!
