Momo Ella

We should have stayed longer than two nights! The villa was luxurious, and the staff were attentive and always happy to help. Our two bedroom villa had a huge balcony looking over the valley, with a Buddhist temple perched on the opposite hilltop. The outskirts of Ella made for a peaceful, beautiful setting. Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit, eggs, toast, pancakes, and plenty of tea.

Ranjih made us feel welcome and had everything so well organized. The villa was spotless, with its own bathroom, and the location was great. We had a very good breakfast with plenty of fruit, eggs, and delicious pancakes. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ella.

The views and cozy feel made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at MoMo Ella Sri Lanka. Our room was spotless, comfortable, well equipped, and had the thoughtful amenities we’d expect from a good 3-star hotel. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit, juices, and a tasty local meal with eggs. Gajan was especially kind, humble, and welcoming, and his helpfulness made the whole visit better. This has become our only stop when we’re in town. A hidden treasure in Ella for comfort, views, food, and hospitality.

We only stayed one night, but left with great memories and a real wish to come back. The mountain views are breathtaking, and with no other buildings around, it’s incredibly quiet and private. A longer visit would be ideal for taking in the peaceful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you want to get away into nature.
