Opal Stay

The rooms were clean and well maintained, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Opal Stay has delicious food, breathtaking views and exceptional service. The staff were extremely friendly and took excellent care of us. The location is calm and quiet, making it a great place to stay in Ella. We'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting and would happily stay again for a memorable experience.

My room had stunning mountain views, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my fantastic stay at Opal Stay. Highly recommended for anyone after great scenery and excellent service.

The room was in poor shape, with dirty carpets, a musty smell, old-looking linens and ineffective air conditioning that left it uncomfortably warm. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly either, and there were mold spots in the shower. It was hard to get a good night's sleep. Staff were unresponsive and unhelpful despite several requests. Room service took forever, and the food arrived cold and unappetizing. Noise from nearby rooms and the hallways kept disturbing the peace. My stay at Opal Saty was very unpleasant, with basic cleanliness and comfort falling short and the service making matters worse. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We booked two months ahead to make sure we'd have a place, but two days before arrival Opal Stay messaged to say we couldn't come. After we'd booked, they had switched places and raised their prices. They asked whether we still wanted to come, and we said yes. Then, 30 hours before we were due to arrive, they said they'd found other guests willing to pay the new price. The staff were very rude and unpleasant and didn't care about us at all. We were left without anywhere to stay in a foreign country during peak season. A very bad experience with the people there.
