Radiance Ella is a unique glamping experience, and we had a wonderful stay. The beds were super comfortable, the wifi worked great, and the ensuite bathroom was a treat. Everything looked clean and new. We also loved the generous breakfast on the deck, looking out over the tea fields. The owner even gave each of us a package of his Radiance BOP tea, which was lovely. It’s a bit of a climb uphill from town. Ella is a party town, and the tents have no soundproofing, so earplugs might come in handy. From start to finish, we felt very well looked after.

We loved waking up to birdsong with a tea plantation right beside us. The tent had its own bathroom and shower, and the rooms were huge, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is great, just a short walk from Ella Town. The staff are so kind and do everything themselves, from cooking fresh meals to cleaning. It’s a small team, but they did a lot to help us feel relaxed. What an amazing experience!

The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The chefs took such care with my dietary restrictions, and the breakfast tea came from the fields I could see from my tent. I also had herbal tea made with herbs grown around the site. Sumit and all the staff were so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I was blown away by the care and service. I love camping, and this was a wonderful way to see Ella’s sights, then return to a peaceful tent overlooking the hills. It feels close to the town centre, but with trees and tea plantations all around. The campsite is real luxury, with lovely attention to detail. My tent had a tea station, gorgeous bedding with a duvet, a TV, fridge, fan, and a private bathroom with hot water. I had the best experience at Radiance in Ella. Thanks, everyone, and I hope to come back.

The glamping setup in central Ella really surprised me in a good way. The standard was great, the staff were friendly, and every detail seemed thoughtfully done. Just keep in mind that the nearby bars can be loud while you’re sleeping in a tent.

It was a fabulous stay, with amazing views, comfortable rooms, and everything clean. We felt safe in the tents, and the booking included a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is right in the centre of Ella, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. At night, noise from the clubs and bars down the road was the one downside. I feel the government should set rules to help local businesses and hotels deal with this, or businesses may not want to invest in such a beautiful environment. Still, I’d recommend this for anyone wanting an authentic, magical experience.
