Travel Rest Inn

I booked three nights, but ended up sleeping somewhere else after arriving to find a very dirty room, ants on the walls, and a strong damp, moldy smell. I asked to move rooms straight away and was told there weren’t any others available, so I had to find another place for the night. I told the owner I would leave the following day. At checkout, though, the owner insisted I pay for all three nights because I had booked them, even though the room conditions were unacceptable and I hadn’t stayed there. It turned into an uncomfortable confrontation, and the owner was unpleasant and unprofessional. I didn’t feel treated with understanding or respect. The lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and handling of the situation made this a very negative experience. I wouldn’t recommend the place, especially to travelers who expect basic cleanliness and fair treatment.

I stayed here with an Italian customer of mine and really enjoyed it. The place was nice, comfortable, and clean, and the host was quick to respond. It’s also within walking distance of town. I’d choose it again for a future stay.

I’ve never had a worse stay. At check-in we called the owner for over 30 minutes without getting an answer. When he finally picked up, he showed no courtesy and just told us to “go to Room 102.” He was never available when we needed him. The room didn’t feel secure because there was no proper door lock, and there was no hot water or drinking water. When I called at night asking for a bottle of water, the owner rudely told me to drink tap water. There was no hospitality, and his attitude was extremely unprofessional. This was a complete waste of money and peace of mind. It’s not a hotel or even a decent lodge. I’d never recommend it, even for a short stay. Avoid it.

The stay was just okay, and the hotel itself felt average. The water supply was very poor and caused a lot of inconvenience. They should improve that.
