The staff were helpful, and the pool was small but adequate. It’s a pleasant little hotel up the hill in a quiet area. Since it was new, everything was clean and worked. Our family room was spacious, with a comfortable double bed, though the bunk was a bit too short for my son. There was also a kitchenette area with a sink and kettle. No microwave, but I hadn’t expected a kitchen, so that was a bonus.

The photos don’t really show how nice it is. My partner and I stayed two nights while travelling around Sri Lanka, and were pleasantly surprised by the huge rooms and very large terrace. The pool was amazing, the breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend it!

The rooms were spacious, air conditioned, and extremely clean, and the staff were great and helpful. I was very impressed with my stay at the Cara White House. Everything is new and modern, and the pool is kept in great shape with constant maintenance. It’s a cheap, quality stay if you’re visiting Galle, and I recommend it.

We stayed in Sri Lanka for a month, and this was the best guest house of the trip. It’s newly built, with a very clean, high quality finish, comfortable beds, and good air conditioning in every room. The pool was lovely, and breakfast was included. Galle fort is just a 5 minute Uber or tuk tuk ride away. I recommend it to everyone.

Spent two nights with my family. The rooms were spacious and had all the facilities we needed, and the swimming pool was superb. Recommended.
