Dileepa was kind and helpful with recommendations, arranged our car pickup efficiently, and let us leave our bags after checkout while we explored. The room was on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well, so it suited us for one or two nights. It’s a budget-friendly option in the Fort, about 10 minutes on foot from the train station and just a few steps from the ramparts and lovely sunsets. Plenty of good breakfast places are nearby. Thanks for having us!

Dileepa and her husband were so warm and kind, always ready to help. We had a spacious, very comfortable room, and slept wonderfully. I’d seen reviews about AC noise, but it sounded normal to us and didn’t disturb our sleep. The Wi-Fi was weak, though that wasn’t a big deal for us. The charming little streets nearby feel especially magical in the evening. Fort Sapphire is a really nice place to stay in Galle Fort.

Dilipa really takes care of you and is a lovely host. The beds are large and super comfortable, the shower gets hot, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to town. Great accommodation in Galle for a reasonable price, and amazing value.

I was ill while we were there, and the hosts helped me find local doctors without expecting any financial gain. They made us feel welcome, and the rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommend.
