We were especially impressed by how welcoming and attentive everyone was, from reception to housekeeping and the restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, well kept, and had lovely views. Meals offered a tasty mix of local and international choices. At Tangerine Beach Hotel, the beachfront setting was a big part of the experience, with ocean views and waves to hear throughout the day. The broad, clean beach was beautiful for walks and sunsets, and the atmosphere felt peaceful while still lively enough for families, couples, or solo guests. It's a relaxing place with a great location, comfort, hospitality, and value. We'd happily return and recommend it.

The breakfast had a great range of varieties and flavors, and we enjoyed it a lot. The large pool, outdoor activities, clean and comfortable setting, and lovely atmosphere with old Indian decor all added to a great stay. This is one of Sri Lanka's best old hotels, with a warm welcome and a very friendly, efficient staff. We're glad we chose it and highly recommend it. Wishing the hotel every success. Happy customer 😊

We had a great time here. The buffet had so much choice, and the service was nice and the place clean. It has a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and would be lovely for a romantic date. The sea was rough and there was a red flag, so don't try going into the water.

The main issue was the service coordination. Staff were polite and friendly, but food could take a while even when the hotel wasn't busy, and better training and management would help. Still, the calm atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and cozy, and the large pool is deeper than most nearby, with a separate one for kids. Tangerine Beach Hotel is beautiful and close to the beach, with green gardens and ocean views. The landscaping, stylish interior, and photo spots all look great, and the food was good. Rooms and shared areas were clean. It's a nice place to relax, and faster, better organized service would make it even better.

The reception hall worked beautifully for our ceremonial navy wedding, and the team helped us follow all the navy traditions just as we requested. They were flexible with flowers and decorations, and having the bar and buffet apart from the main hall kept the event flowing smoothly. The lighting made the hall feel beautiful, and the food was excellent. From planning the menu through all the details, the friendly, helpful team supported us and made the day memorable. We also spent a night there for our honeymoon. The room was spacious, very clean and well maintained, with a lovely beach facing view, though the bathroom was a bit small. Restaurant meals during our stay were great, with lots of options and live stations. Many thanks to Tangerine Beach Hotel's management and staff for making our wedding day so special. Highly recommended for weddings and other occasions.
