We took the lagoon safari and saw crocodiles, bats, chameleons, snakes, several kinds of birds, and plenty of plants and fruit. The location right on the river is amazing, with wildlife all around. Our room was spacious and well arranged, the balcony was a dream to sit on, and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was enormous, so don't count on needing lunch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the clean pool was refreshing, with a great view. I'd recommend Lagoon Bentota to anyone!

The boat safari was the highlight, though the whole trip was one of our best holidays. My wife and I were looked after so well by the wonderful team at lagoon bentota. Breakfast was amazing, and they drove us around in a tuk tuk and showed us many places. It's a great place to stay close to nature, different from the usual sort of place. Nearby, a short tuk tuk ride gets you to the beach, local shops, lunuganga, temples, and great seafood resturaunts. The kind staff made the service first class. Thank you to Himalsha, Nimal, Asanka, Rash, and everyone else there. We hope to come back with all our family.

The room was clean and roomy, and the seafood platter was amazingly fresh. We couldn't finish it, but they kindly let us split it over two dinners. What stood out most was how the whole resort treated us like family. I've travelled around the world a lot, and Logoon Bentota ranks high for me. As tourists, we don't want to be constantly upsold, and that wasn't our experience here.

We had one of our best family stays here, right by the lagoon, and it was a lovely escape from the noise. The setting is breathtaking, the rooms extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. They cooked delicious food, and the boat rides felt safe as well as beautiful. We got pictures of the alligators and monitors and loved it. Highly recommended for families or anyone wanting a getaway in beautiful surroundings!

We had a relaxing stay in a peaceful, quiet setting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good range of tasty items.
