The owner is always so friendly and polite, and that’s a big part of why we keep returning to Roabaa Guest House. We’ve stayed there several times, and each visit has been comfortable. It’s close to the city center but still quiet, with plenty of parking. The rooms are consistently clean and cared for, the air conditioning works well, and there’s reliable hot water. We’ll definitely be back 👍🏻
The owner made us feel welcome and was really helpful. The rooms are roomy and clean, with both AC and a fan, and shops and restaurants are nearby. Good value too, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
The owners, who live downstairs, are friendly and speak English. Breakfast is available for a small extra charge. I also walked about 800m to Sri Kishna Cafe by the Lagoon for Tamil food. It was clean and inexpensive, and I enjoyed having masala dosa there each morning. The guesthouse is tucked down a quiet lane away from the main road. The room and bathroom were modern, spacious, and clean, and the AC worked well. During my three-week motorbike trip around the country, this was one of the best-value places I stayed.
Nava, the owner, is kind and hospitable, and really makes sure guests have what they need. The rooms are very comfortable, with a large LED TV connected to Dialog TV, and the bathrooms are kept in good condition. A great place to stay in Batticaloa, I’d highly recommend it.
The host was so helpful and made our family stay comfortable. We found the place clean and well looked after, with good AC, clean water, and handy parking. It’s right in town, close to all the amenities, and we had a wonderful time at this holiday home in Batticaloa. Highly recommended.
