Geethanjali was a warm, responsive host who was always ready to help. The accommodation was spotless, well cared for, and comfortable. We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Riverside Retreat in Kandy, with nature sounds and beautiful views over the Mahaweli River. We'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Kandy.

The river views were spectacular, and waking up to the breeze, birds, and other wildlife was so peaceful. The retreat was still conveniently close to the city. I was traveling with my infant, and the calm, clean, comfortable setting worked really well for us. A personal plus was having no mosquitoes. We stayed at Riverside Retreat just a week after Cyclone Ditwat hit, and the property was in excellent condition and clearly well prepared. The place was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Geetha was friendly, welcoming, and quick to help whenever we needed something. My family and I had a wonderful stay, one of our best experiences, and I highly recommend it for a peaceful scenic getaway.
