The food was delicious, and the rooms were good. It's in a very good location. Highly recommend it.

For our first night on a trip, my wife and I wanted somewhere affordable and clean. The owner's grandmother welcomed us when we arrived, and the place felt very homely. The owner called a couple of times while we were on the way, perhaps because we were the only guests that night. Hot water and AC both worked well, the room was quite large, and there was sheltered parking. The next day, the owner spoke with us and was very polite. With fewer guests, she prepared breakfast herself. It was simple but delicious. She has two dogs, though I only noticed them as I was leaving. The place was clean and spacious, good value, with a helpful host and good breakfast. There was no internet. When I asked, she said it had been disconnected due to the lack of guests during covid.

The owner was very friendly and treated us kindly. Rooms and bathrooms were in good condition with all facilities, and everything was clean and comfortable. Parking is limited, and the balcony is small, not really somewhere to sit for long. We ordered fried rice with chili paste for dinner, and it wasn't too expensive. Breakfast was included and good too, with roti, toasted bread, chili paste, jam, curry, and tea. Recommended.

There was a calm, comfortable atmosphere, and the rooms were clean. We had a great view of the river from the balcony. The staff were friendly and courteous to guests. One of the best hotels we've stayed in during our time in Sri Lanka.
