Rangala Hostel

The location is undeniably beautiful, surrounded by lush nature and breathtaking scenery, but the property itself was neglected and made for a thoroughly disappointing stay. The online pictures look inviting and well kept, while the reality felt almost opposite. It seemed abandoned, with little evidence of upkeep, and needs serious attention to be suitable for guests. We had planned a relaxing vacation with friends, but the condition of the place ruined it. We could only manage one night before leaving. The lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, and care made the trip impossible to enjoy. Unless major improvements happen, I strongly advise against staying. It has potential because of the setting, but right now it's a waste of time and money, and a shadow of what it could be. The facilities were a disaster. There was no proper drinking water, and the toilets had no water at all. Their poor design and condition made them practically unusable. The old kabana felt so fragile it might break, leaving us uneasy. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with no sign of care. Service earned a 1-star rating. The staff members were friendly and polite, but seemed unequipped to meet guests' needs, as if they lacked the resources or training to provide a decent experience. The food was another major letdown and fell far short of what we expected or the quality promised.
