I spent one night here and had a nice stay. The rooms were okay, with no air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans. The host was kind and cooked noodles for me when I arrived, for 800 rupees. Bring cash if you can, since card payments have a 3.5% fee. The location works well too, about a 15-minute walk to galle fort. Nothing luxurious, but it was a really good experience. Thanks!

The host is friendly. Rooms can get hot, so I'd suggest booking one with AC. It's close to Galle fort, the town, and the train or bus stand, about a five-minute walk or tuk ride.

The location suited me perfectly: easy to walk around town and get everywhere, with a good terrace and an amazing forest neighbourhood. I'd stay again for my needs, which were sleeping, going out, and exploring on foot. The rooms and bathrooms are basic, with small fan-cooled dorms, no lockers, and no kitchen. It isn't the place to choose for amenities. There were several double bookings while I was there, including mine. Maybe ask someone local to call ahead and confirm.

The owner was so attentive, and I slept really well. The hostel is close enough to walk to both the bus station and the fort, but it's quiet there, with only birds, monkeys, and sounds like that. I had a lovely stay and will be back soon.
